Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance websites, ensuring seamless functionality across all platforms, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to create visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Implement responsive design principles, optimising websites for diverse devices and screen sizes.
  • Enhance website performance through speed optimization techniques.
  • Diagnose and resolve website issues, ensuring smooth operation.
  • Keep abreast of evolving web development trends and technologies.
  • Coordinate effectively with project managers and team members to meet project milestones.
  • Communicate proficiently with clients, understanding their needs and offering technical insights.
 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with server-side languages such as PHP, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
  • Thorough understanding of web standards and protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management capabilities.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Web Developer or in a similar capacity.
  • Showcase a portfolio highlighting previous web development projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and implementation.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards and guidelines.
  • Exposure to web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and methodologies.
