Chief Finance Officer

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee their financial operations and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Australian taxation law, and demonstrate expertise with the Zero accounting software. The CFO will be expected to work from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Philippine time.
 

Responsibilities
 

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s goals and objectives.
• ​​Manage all financial aspects of the company including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Australian laws and regulations related to taxation and financial practices.
• Oversee the financial audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Utilize Zero accounting software for financial management and reporting.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive team.
• Monitor cash flow and manage funding sources to maintain financial health.
• Lead the finance team and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications and Skills
 

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) 
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant financial management experience, specifically in an Australian context.
• Proficient in using Zero accounting software.
• Strong understanding of Australian taxation laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.

 

Requirements
 

• Must be available to work from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Philippine time.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage finance teams.
• Prior experience in a similar role within an international business context is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel, if required, to ensure smooth financial operations.
